Local Storage: By default, all notes, calendar entries, tasks, and application settings are stored locally on your device's internal storage using secure databases (SQLite). We do not transmit your notes to any external servers operated by us.

2. Google Drive Integration & Cloud Backup

The App offers an optional cloud backup feature using your personal Google Drive account. If you choose to enable this feature:

• Authentication: We use Google Sign-In to authenticate your account.
• Data Access: The App will request permission to access a specific, isolated folder within your Google Drive dedicated solely to Take Personal Note.
• Data Usage: We only read and write data to this specific folder for the purpose of backing up and restoring your notes. We do not access, read, or modify any other files in your Google Drive.
• Data Sharing: We do not share your Google account information or backed-up data with any third parties.

3. Biometric Authentication & Security

To protect your notes, the App allows you to enable Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint or Face Unlock).

• Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's operating system hardware and software.
• The App does not collect, store, or have direct access to your raw biometric data. It simply receives a success or failure token from your device's operating system.
• The App utilizes local encryption protocols to ensure that notes locked behind passwords or biometrics remain secure on your device.

4. Permissions Used by the App

• Storage/Photos/Media: Required to save exported PDF files, select images to attach to notes, or backup data locally.
• Notifications: Required to deliver the time-based reminders you set for your notes.
• Network Access: Required only if you use the optional Google Drive backup feature.

5. Analytics and Third-Party Services

We do not integrate third-party advertising frameworks into the App. We do not track your usage behavior or sell your personal data. Your notes remain completely private.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
